Chet, other things I've trouble with my 12 months old Blue Quaker 'ELVIS' is - if my wife goes into his cage to fill seed or change water, he bites. He bites the ears or face unexpectantly. I have read 'here' about birds doing a card trick 'picking right cards.' How is this accomplished? "I LIVE AT EXETER 'a suburb of Adelaide' in South Australia."
I spent 25 years on stage and TV entertaining with miniature dogs. I achieved this despite being born with Cerebral Palsy. In 2000 I had to retire aged 60 after a car crash caused me to lose balance when walking. Now I'd love to teach my Blue Quaker a few tricks just for me and my friends.

I have been without a pc for awhile, so I don't know if I'm too late?
My 12 months old Blue Quaker talks, only when left alone. He does not talk 'to me.' I can understand what he says because I recog- nize the sounds of words I've taught. BUT words are not clear to other people. How can I teach him tricks such as (1) Roll over.
(2) Come to me when called. He only comes if he wants to.
I've taught him to dance for a treat 'he bobs head up & down!
(3) You speak of using a 'clicker.' What is a clicker - how do u use?
I have his wing clipped. He comes out cage in family room daily 4 sometimes 15 minutes maybe twice. I put him back when he bites or gets on floor. He squawks loudly. Squawks louder if left alone.
