I have watched a few of the video’s, and some are really good…but not that many votes…that’s a shame that this is really a popularity contest and not a true contest of how well the bird talks. Some of the birds that have a lot of votes don’t even talk that well, I am dissapointed in the contest..Some of these birds are really good but have no votes…It seems that the owners didn’t even vote for them…I wonder why that is…

Agrees with you, Christine. I believe nobody was invited to vote as was promised at the beginning of the contest. Those who were keeping track of the blog saw the votes are ready to be done and got it done….some did a big time fraud to get more votes…they have 400+ votes….I know the one on this video. It’s a friend of my very good friends. This parrot talks at least 20 words in this very video. We were all following the votes up only to see the other ones (the one with 400+ votes) numbers increase by 100s in seconds (now they are moving very slow…they know no one will reach them…if some do they can again do the ‘magic’ to beat them up). Chet should have published it somewhere and the winner should not have been based on the number of votes…or at least Chet should have judged the parrot’s talking ability. Also there should have been restrictions like (maximum duration of the video, and of course it should ahve been limited to one single video for one particualr parrot…I think I saw at least one entry with 2 videos….) Anyways good to see lot of parrots talking. I myself am a big lover…but due to the current family situations I can’t own one….

Hi all:

Just so Chet suggested….this parrot says quite a lot of words….unlike many others in the contest.
He/she sounds like human beings….amazing talent….the owners of this parrot must be very proud….This parrot should win the contest…all, I urge you all to watch this video and cast vote for it. I did mine for this video. All the best birdie…..
