Cockatiel Performs Addams Family Theme Song

I just had to share this cute video of this Cockatiel singing the theme song to the Addam’s Family. Make sure you watch it to the end as the Cockatiel is even trained to thump his head on the ground on certain beats! Pretty clever training. I don’t know the person who trained him but well worth watching.

Enjoy!

Chet

    Hi Chet,

Unfortunately, no matter what I did I could not get the Adams Family cockatiel video to play. I think there’s something wrong with the way it’s posted.

    The other videos seem OK.

Thanks, but I would love to see it!

I can’t open or view any of the videos on your blog… all I get is a little red x

  3. Vicki Entrekin Says:

Nothing showed up on the Cockatiel video. It just showed a white box with a red X in the top left corner.

Just thought you would like to know.

    Sincerely,

    Vicki Entrekin

Please fix this video. I am anxious to see it. Years ago I had a cockatiel that whistled the entire Andy Griffith show theme song. He would pick it up on the first note. So Cute!

Sorry about that video not working for you guys :-( I fixed it. Turns out it was only playing for people who have the firefox internet browser. And all internet explorer browsers were showing an error. Guess that teaches me that I should check it in both browsers next time.

    It’s working now though!

    thanks Jenny,

but you should know that it’s not my parakeet. I just found the video online and thought it was something you’d all enjoy. But you can bet I’m going to go back and try to train my cockatiel ‘Magoo’ to do that.

I think this is a very cute video. My cockatiel sings the theme song to the “Andy Griffith Show”. Although my videos aren’t very good, this one is awsome! Hope you like my bird Tiki to. ; )

That’s my bird Switch. He usually sings it better than that but he’s really curious so when I pull the camera out normally he runs up to check it out, so it’s tough to capture. He also sings shave and a haircut (that song you knock on doors ie.doot doodle oot do… doot doo.) Says the standard bird stuff “hello, pretty bird, give me a kiss? Mwah Good brrrd, and his name” He’s working on imperial march from starwars. I’m no bird trainer, the cockatiel I had as a child could barely remember his name. This guy’s just super smart. Mind you, my Linnie sings everything switch does twice as well (minus the tapping in addams family, he just clucks.) But linnies only tend to sing when they’re hiding in their cots and they think no one is listening, so it’s tough to catch him on video too.
