OOOOOOH! that is the most precious video. I LOVE birds and that is just too sweet and clever AND HILARIOUS!!! This took some thought, training and love… thanks for sharing this!!

Anita Mastracci  02/04/2010 2:16 pm

ABSOLUTELY adorable & took a whole LOT of ingenuity ! WELL DONE !!!!!
on this very cute ’story’ — but way TOO LONG ; also the fixtures DID LOOK too small in comparison to the birds size.
…….. mainly …….. the ENDING IS completely UNNECESSARY for this otherwise very ENJOYABLE ’show’ of the little birds HAPPILY going about their very busy lifestyle, THAT bad & NON – enjoyable ending did NOT ‘fit’ in with their having fun in so MANY nice places. It didn’t make me feel good about all I had liked before the ending. I’d PREFER things about a bit BIGGER birds too.
Video was VERY dark & FUZZY – not clear at all. Sorry to complain, but – you did ask ! I’d EXPECT better from the Womack’s , although the effort IS wonderful.

Gloria  02/04/2010 2:18 pm

Amazing, someone had to have a lot of patience to put this together and lot of birds. I loved the play on words, and the chicks were cute too. Great stuff.

Donna  02/04/2010 2:35 pm

Fantastic! I cannot imagine how long that took to shoot. This looked like it was shot back in the 50s. The sound, the images, the narrator, wonderful!

Ruth  02/04/2010 2:36 pm

Incredible bit of training and filming. Such patience. Awesome!

Gloria  02/04/2010 2:36 pm

Hi Chet,
I am feeding my bigger birds a Yellow Nape Amazon named BeBe and her friend Elvis who is a Hanhn’s McCaw, a nice mix of seed for Conure and Yellow Nape Parrots, I also give them the dry crackery meal as well, those are different, but Kaytee makes them as well. I want to give a shout out to Kaytee for helping their bird loving friends to save money by having a coupon that allowed people to get a free bag of bird frood with the purchase of 2 bags and UPC barcode and reciept from each purchase. It was a helpful especially in the economy has been going. I enjoy all of my birds, and really enjoy when BeBe starts her chating Elvis makes completely different noises.

Laura R. Perez  02/04/2010 2:58 pm

hehehehe that was funny!!! Chet i bet u can make a soup opera like this one jejejje! with ur macaw starring !

Wanda  02/04/2010 2:59 pm

WOW & WOW How – How long did it take to do all this? It must have taken ages to put this video together!! I will be ordering your program once I have made my final decision on a Macaw baby. It is thrilling to see there is a chance at have a mannerly well behaved larger bird. I have the time and am ready for the work.

Mr. Jody  02/04/2010 3:08 pm

That was an amazing film !! If you can’t see the video, try reloading the page.

Angel  02/04/2010 3:56 pm

mohamed  02/04/2010 4:18 pm

verey verey verey good video

Dennis Meeks  02/04/2010 4:21 pm

All they need are Gabby Hays or Andy Divien. I really do know it’s Hayes and Divine LOL Then again since I’m a ventriloquist maybe Max Terhune and Elmer. My birds all talk without moving their lips! A great Video

Cristina Gonzalez  02/04/2010 4:32 pm

K Sugarman  02/04/2010 4:45 pm

Very cute and imaginative……..seemed like the old Disney shorts!! I did feel badly for the Keet with the dunce hat on at the school as he kept falling and shaking his head to remove the hat. I also thought the ending with the crow was unnecessary.

Heather  02/04/2010 4:56 pm

That is so cute! I’m giving it 5stars!

Thanks so much for sending this! I heard of it before on Brooklynparrots.com and looked for it on Netflix but it was not available. Very cute! Very ’50s too!

victoria  02/04/2010 6:31 pm

I just remembered – anyone who likes “Bill and Coo” would like a book titled “Mrs. Ballard’s Parrots”. These are real, living parrots, dressed up and photographed surrounded by scenery from famous movies or historical events. They look like they are re-enacting the stories. Mrs. Ballard and one of her costumed birds can be seen at the end of Woody Allen’s movie “Broadway Danny Rose.”

Bobby Godwin  02/04/2010 6:42 pm

I saw this when it came out new. I saw the entire movie. I must have been around 12. I’m 73 now.

Sarah  02/05/2010 2:07 pm

my dads theory behind this cute little film.

A husband and wife happily share their lives with many little fids.
In her spare time, he hobby was to teach her babies tricks.
The husband decided that he needed to find a hobby of his own.
So he took up the hobby of building models and created an entire little town.
When it was all finished the wife says “now what are you going to do with it!?”…

lol! I loved this :) but i want to know more about the black menace!

mika  02/05/2010 2:37 pm
