		<description>I suggest you have some small wood with the bark.  My Cockatoo love chewing the bark as part of their diet. Without it they will pluck on their feathers.</description>

It&#039;s hard for me to say without knowing your bird at all, but your plan sounds good.  Just be watchful of signs of stress.  If you notice more self destructive behaviors, slow your pace. Most important is that she learn to play independently.  That means that she utilizes and enjoys alone time in her cage more.  Try foraging toys or puzzle toys, but show her how to use them by letting her observe YOU using them first.  Even a shoebox on the cage bottom filled with torn newspaper and small wood pieces, plastic beads, or whatever she likes.  Let her discover how fun it is to play with something other than her feathers.  If you have more questions, post them.  I check for comments everyday.
