I have several birds, five budgies that three are from a neighbor that could not keep them one born to two of them and one from pet store. I also have a Pacific Parrotlet that I adore and two lovebirds, Sammy the (pp) is three and I got him from the pet store more then 2 1/2 yrs ago, the only problem is the only time you can hold him is with a cloth that is his, he will snuggle with you that way. Only lately he has started to go after feet and the dogs, how can I stop that?
My male lovebird (Poco) was hand raised and we got him due to his new owner’s working schedule, he is a suck never bites with any force more like just to taste and never hurts. The female (Peaches) we got from a breeder that did not have a mate she liked, she is somewhat sweet but all three times I have had her out with me she will for no reason attack me to the point of drawing blood. The first time she attacked me Poco charged at her and attacked her, I would like them to be friends but she is so much more aggressive than he is how can I change this, As I love everyone of my birds.
Thank you
