I am glad that you put such careful consideration into your decisions when it comes to your pets.  I wish everyone did - maybe shelters wouldn&#039;t be so full!  
It&#039;s important to know that not every bird has the issues that Linus had, as I mentioned, many of which I don&#039;t even know the origins of.  Walking him through this difficult time, resulting in the wonderful friend he has become to me, was worth every ounce of effort. It has been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of my life.  
I suspect that you&#039;ll know when the time is right for you to embark on this journey, and we&#039;ll all be here to help you along the way.
