Hey Guys,
I just bought your tapes and I am thrilled to find out I have been doing thing right. I inheritated a Senagal Parrott from my Mother. He has been passed from my aunt to her sone to my mom to me. It has taken me over 6 months to get him turned from a vicious little "Hulk" to a real little lover. I do not know his age but I am estimating he is around 15 years old.
I recently went to a bird fair in Tulsa Oklahoma and have an Oppritunity to get an Umbrella Cockatoo. He has been raised by the same person since she was 6 months old.
At first I was all gung ho but after listening to your CD's and books I have purchased I am having second thought about caring for a second larger breed bird.
I am hoping I can get knowledge from your series and we all know fear decreases when knowledge increases.
Thanks for doing what you are doing. Keep it up

I enjoyed watching the videos, although I was trying to send a video of my Blue Front Amazon chasing my dogs around the kitchen but I wasn't able to get it to download to you and don't know why. I would like to try it again if you have another contest, so please let me know. Thanks, Tammy

After watching the videos and reading the comments from others, I also agree that this was a fun, interesting and very informative contest. I also agree with Keith Monahan, that this should have been left up to the family pet owner and not the pro, yet it is great to see the video of the pro as an example. Also, it should be explained at the start, that WE are the viewers/voters/judges of the contest, but you as the promoter of the contest should have the right to make a corrective adjustment or statement(in other words, the final say).

Perhaps, if this becomes an annual event, now that we have seen what is out there that can be done, break down or add to the categories and have the prise of $100.00 each. Since 3 categories of $250 equals $700, have 7 categories of $100 each.
(1) Best Singing.
(2) Best Whistling.
(3) Best Trick(s).
(4) Best Talking.
(5) Cutest Activity.
(6) Smartest Bird.
(7) Best Professional.

But over all, this was a Great FIRST contest. The previous list is just there as an example. Maybe you would like to get all others to respond to what they think would be good categories for next years contest... Now that I've seen it, maybe I'll enter one or both of my Grey's next year. Stephen ;-)>
