Thanks for checking out my blog chet, I appreciate the comment. I have a 5 year old blue and gold macaw that i bought last year from an owner that was abusive to him. I bought your course and found it extremely helpful for me and max or mad max as i like to call him. Anyway Max was very hard to handle when i first got him. it took a year and your training videos to get him to calm down. Now he is a loving part of our family. Only bites once in a while and its not a hard bite. Just a love nip. I am working on putting a flight harness on him as i want to fly him this summer once spring gets here. Its a long process. I can cup his head in my hand and rub his neck, cover his eyes no problem but when he sees that harness approaching his face he goes all snakey on me. I guess i have some more work to do.

Hi, Chet,
Just wanted to tell you about my cockatiel. He sits on my shoulder a lot, and bites at my necklaces. Alas, all are broken, so I went to a jewelry store and bought stainless steel necklaces. They are fine for everyday, and my cockatiel can't bite through them! I have some very fine gauge, and he still can't get through. Pass this on if you like, or maybe somewhere you have tips on how to get him to quit biting at jewelry!
