This is Jinx and me. He’s helping me find inspiration for future blog posts on here for all of you to read and benefit from! I’d say he’s doing a darn good job, wouldn’t you?

Us bloggers almost always write our posts with one of our birds around, if not ON, us at the time!

So next time you’re on the computer, think about how your bird might be able to join you, too. Can you put on a shirt you don’t care so much about and let them chew on it to keep them busy while you play on a social networking site or check your email? Can you bring them out at NIGHT so that they are NATURALLY more mellow and getting ready to roost anyway that they will sit peacefully on your shoulder while you type?

Think about it, and even think about training it with a clicker and rewarding your bird for being good while you’re working on your computer. It will form a bond and allow you to spend more time with your bird where you originally were not. And if you already ARE doing these things – kudos to you!
