I have an Amazon that I have been nursing for three months. He is 20 and although I think he is a baby his internal workings tell me he is not. He is currently on flagyl and baytril with diflucan. He has had a rough patch. Almost a month in ICU...
I am nursing him at home. He cries after he eats and has rubbery tubular poops. They are appropriately colored. I have been giving him diluted pedialyte and pepto bismol daily. Any other suggestions?
I am feeding him no fruit but bananas and a little apple sauce, white rice, green beans, carrots, a few legumes and a few greens. He still has his seed but no sunflower. He likes cashews.
Open to any response. I love him and want him well.
